MARTIN CREWE
Martin has been Director of Barnardo’s Scotland for 17 years and has worked in the charity sector for over 30 years.

He has been a member of several boards including Edinburgh College, OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator), Evaluation Support Scotland and chaired the Scottish Government’s Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) Programme Board. He is currently a member of the Scottish Government’s National Trauma Transformation Programme Steering Group.

Martin initially trained as a geochemist and has worked for a trade union, the National Health Service and charities both big and small. He has recently completed a doctoral qualification focused on charity leadership and effectiveness.

DAVID TARANSAUD

David is a psychotherapeutic counsellor, consultant and trainer. with over 20 years’ experience working with challenging youth.

He is the author of,
 - You Think I’m Evil: practical strategies for working with rebellious and aggressive adolescents
 - I, Monster: positive ways of working with challenging teens through understanding the adolescent within us
 - The Rage for Life

As part of his work, he set up an art therapy service in an orphanage for former child soldiers and young people affected by conflict in Uganda.

DANNY GEMMELL

Danny is the Founder of Be-inn Unity, a social enterprise that exists to inspire and educate communities so that individuals are empowered to thrive.

Danny and the team work closely with communities ranging from primary and high schools, local authorities, and national businesses, delivering a variety of initiatives that are informed by attachment theory, to build emotionally safe cultures that offer relationships founded in love, kindness and compassion.

Danny is passionate about removing the stigma associated with mental health and suicide prevention, driven from his own personal experiences.

REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Once we have received your booking online, by telephone, email or in the post this constitues a firm booking. 2. Your registration constitues a legally binding agreement, payment must be received before the event. Any outstanding payment becomes the responsibility of the named delegate attending. 3. Cancellations must be made in writing. A refund less an administration charge of £25 will be given to cancellations received 2 months before the event start date. After this date the full fee is payable, regardless if the delegate attends on the day or not. Substitutions can be made, if we are notified up to 3 days before the event. 4. The organisers reserve the right to change the programme, speakers and venue as required. 5. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the event we will issue a refund for the registration fee. 6.
