See Me - I Am Here: More on Childhood Trauma and Recovery Conference

This conference will focus on a range of topics relating to trauma difficulties in children and young people. The conference is designed for professionals supporting children and young people in any professional capacity including social care, health and education.

Recent studies estimate two-thirds of children & young people will have experienced trauma before the age of 16. This conference is jammed packed with inspirational and knowledgeable speakers & expert practitioners who will inspire, motivate and challenge you.

You’ll gain a better understanding on trauma, recovery and its impact. How to connect and communicate with hard-to-reach children and young people, and how youth culture, can give us an insight into their inner world.

Most importantly we’ll equip you with practical strategies & tools to help others that are hurting. You’ll also be able to share and learn from best practice from throughout Scotland.
