About the Workshop
The focus of this half day introductory workshop is on strengths, confidence, self-worth, self-belief, self-esteem, and resilience; including magnifying, noticing, celebrating, and strengthening children and their surrounding adults’ strengths, skills, positive qualities, and resources.

Course tutor Dr Karen Treisman who is an experienced and engaging expert in the field, will be sharing some creative, expressive, and relational tips and tangible tools for supporting and strengthening children’s and young people’s self-esteem and self-belief. Including the CBT model around self-esteem and how low self-esteem can be maintained and reinforced.

About Dr Karen Treisman, MBE:
Karen has spoken at several of our training courses and conferences and feedback from delegates is always superb, Karen is very easy to listen to with lots of practical information and ideas. She is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist, Organizational Consultant, TEDx speaker, trainer, organizational consultant, and author who has worked in the NHS and children’s services for several years. Karen has also worked cross-culturally in both Africa and Asia with groups ranging from former child soldiers to survivors of the Rwandan Genocide.

How you join us for the workshop
This live workshop is taking place online via a zoom link. You access the session via computer, tablet or smart phone connected to the internet, we will send joining instructions via email with your confirmation of booking. Some organisations don’t allow access via zoom and we suggest logging in on your own computer, table, or smart phone. REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Once we have received your booking online, by telephone, email or in the post this constitues a firm booking. 2. Your registration constitues a legally binding agreement, payment must be received before the event. Any outstanding payment becomes the responsibility of the named delegate attending. 3. Cancellations must be made in writing. A refund less an administration charge of £25 will be given to cancellations received 2 months before the event start date. After this date the full fee is payable, regardless if the delegate attends on the day or not. Substitutions can be made, if we are notified up to 3 days before the event. 4. The organisers reserve the right to change the programme, speakers and venue as required. 5. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the event we will issue a refund for the registration fee. 6.
